AVR-2312 configuration

For seeing Denon menu on TV a driect HDMI cable needs to be used. Wall cable does not work for that!

Connect HDMI cable to Denon “TV HDMI IN” and to TV HDMI port with “ARC” sign (Audio Return Channel). On Samsung it's “HDMI 1”
To enable the ARC function, set “HDMI Control” – “Control” to “ON”
Set the Denon source to “TV”

Connect the RCA cable to Denon “Audio IN, CD”
Set the Denon source to “CD” (or “Phone” if the name has been changed by you to this)
- On the remote control button “CD”

Check that network cable is connected
find the IP address of Denon. In Pärnu it's 192.168.1.162 and in hosts file is defined http://denon

AVS foorumi info: First, it's important to understand that, in terms of audio performance and build quality, the AVR 591, 1611, 791, and 1911 are essentially IDENTICAL. They all use the same Audyssey processing, have the same DSP chips, same DAC's, same chassis, same amp section, and are built alongside each other in the same factory in China. The only difference is the features. If you don't need the extra features, save your money and get a lower level model.
